Engineering capabilities
Hardware, when the offering needs it.
We are not a 3D print shop or a circuit design shop. When an offering we build needs printed parts or a custom circuit, we design and build them as part of the system, and systems we have built this way run in production today.
3D printing
Printed parts for the system, not a print service.
When a system needs a physical part, we design it in CAD, print it, and test it with the software it serves.
- Shaped around the offering. Enclosures, mounts and fixtures are designed for the device they hold and the place it is used.
- Tested with the system. A printed part is checked with the software it belongs to before it goes into use.
- Part of what we build. We do not take print jobs on their own. Printing is part of an offering we build and run with you.
Circuit design
Custom circuits, when a system needs one.
When an offering needs to connect a sensor, a device or a control to the system, we design the circuit and build it into the offering.
- Designed with the software. The circuit, the device it sits in and the system it reports to are designed together.
- Running in production. Systems we have built with custom circuits run in production today.
- Part of what we build. We take on circuit work when it serves a system we build and run with you.
How it fits
One team, from the part to the screen.
Hardware work starts the same way as any engagement: from the decision your operation needs to make. If that decision needs a reading, a scan or a physical part, we design it with the software and support it with the rest of the system.
- Where
- Prototypes are built at our innovation hub in Chattanooga. Parts are printed in its engineering space.
- When
- When an offering needs it. We do not sell printing or circuit design as a separate service.
